2 new cards

I played with Rebeh last night and be both made two cards. Her's were lovely. I would like to get them up here.

I Am The One who is surrounded by beauty and riches - but who is distrustful of what I have and somewhere deep down believes at any moment I could become poor and grubby.

Heart Politics

looking back over this blog it looks like I didn't do much soulcollage from mid December to end of January. Well in truth I haven't but I did do a whole lot of Soulcollage inspired cards for Heart Politics home groups which took up a lot of my time! At first I wasn't sure what to do, but then I found I had a theme of natural and human made . This post really should be about three back but here it is here.

Jaya and Claire

At last - I got to do soulcollage with others. Had a wonderful three hours with Jaya and Claire last week. They both made two cards I got half of one done! Here are their first ever cards. Jaya's on the left, Claire's on the right. We did I Am The One Who readings but we didn't write them down as we were seriously running out of time - and anyway I doubt they are as willing to go as public as I am.

I mad e whole lot of SoulCollage inspired cards for the recent heart Heart Politics home groups and decided not to use one but keep it as part of my pack. After the very environmental HPX it seems very fitting. No reading yet but its about recourses and our use of them.

They take their own sweet time

I keep wanting to make more cards but they only seem to come suddenly and unexpectedly rather than when I think I want to make them. These two are a case in point. I was tidying up and came across this old picture of Terry and Rebeh and a card just had to be made THEN, and, of course, it came together easily. But - it was while I was in the middle of other things so it got a bit of paint on it. Also I scanned it with its cover on and that doesn't work so well in terms of colour.

And then I found my long lost box of postcards. The post card of two women has always been very powerful to me and suddenly another card was made. Because 30 years on its still there!
